I instantly fell in love with his photography style and had to reach out. On our very first call, I knew that Hayden was the perfect photographer for us.
As a lover of film photography, it was very important to me that my wedding was shot mostly on film. My husband and I both live in Chicago and were planning a wedding in Chania, Crete. We knew that finding a photographer to suit our needs wouldn't be the easiest task. When meeting with Hayden and sharing all of our wedding planning ideas, we instantly clicked. Hayden was equally as excited as we were about every single detail. We've never booked a vendor so fast in our lives.
During the planning process, Hayden shared countless amounts of helpful tips and suggestions from selecting our getting ready locations to match the vibe of the wedding, to creating sample timelines, photo locations, etc. Every day up until our wedding I told my husband that I just loved Hayden so much already and I was so excited to finally meet him in person.
Hayden joined us for our intimate rehearsal dinner & our welcome party and truly made the night so much more special. He made sure to pull my husband and I aside at the right moment to capture the most beautiful sunset photos. He captured all of the best candids of us seeing our friends and family for the first time and truly enjoying the moment.
Now for the wedding day - while almost everyone drove me insane while getting ready for my wedding, this man was truly my peace. Hayden could truly tell from the look on my face what I needed at that moment and that is not something you come by often in life. I cannot imagine my wedding day without him! Hayden went absolutely above and beyond in every single way! From keeping me on track with the timeline and making sure all we got all of the important shots at the right time, to pulling me away from everyone when I just needed a moment to breathe & everything in between. I am so happy to have had him by my side on such an important day.
Every single day since our wedding, I have looked through all of our wedding photos trying to pick a favorite. Out of almost 2,000 photos, I cannot find a single bad one. Hayden truly understood our vision and brought it to life, times a million. Every single guest at our wedding has not stopped talking about how incredible Hayden and his photos are!! Actually, several of our friends and family have already asked us if he will travel for their upcoming weddings.
Every single shot seriously belongs on the cover of Vogue.
